Formulation Guidelines
- Use level: 1 - 7.5%
- Add to post water phase or oil phase or post add
- Can be used in a wide range of pH
- For water phase addition, solubilization is is faster at lower water temperatures. A 5% solution of Expertgel in 4°C water requires 10 min under agitation to be fully solubilized, the same solution at RT requires 25
- For oil phase addition, add to the oil phase, then heat to minimum of 70°C to melt Expertgel. Continue with preparing the emulsion. Expertgel Polymer will migrate to the water phase
- When post-adding to emulsion, prepare a pre-mix of Expertgel in water (approximately 10% Expertgel)
- Add at the end of the process below 45°C, and ensure the product is completely incorporated
